#Weallstandtogether

On Tuesday 21 April 2020, Bouygues Group, via its companies Bouygues Construction and SCDM, donated 600,000 surgical masks to the Ivory Coast state health services.

These masks were received on Tuesday 21 April 2020 by the Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, Dr Aka Aouélé, in the presence of the French Ambassador to Ivory Coast, His Excellency Mr Gilles Huberson, along with representatives from Bouygues Construction and SCDM: Nicolas de Roquefeuil, Adam Youan Bi, Christian Maure & Jean-Michel Bonnet.

This donation reinforces the long-standing commitment of Bouygues Group and SCDM to Ivory Coast, and is aimed, in particular, at supporting the Ivorian State and healthcare personnel in their efforts to prevent and control the Covid pandemic.

An additional 400,000 surgical masks for the Ivory Coast health services then supplemented the 600,000 that had arrived on Tuesday 12 April. These were received on Tuesday 12 May 2020 at Félix Houphouet-Boigny airport in Abidjan, and a ceremony was held on Tuesday 2 June at the Ministry of Health & Public Hygiene.

This second donation further reinforces the long-standing commitment of Bouygues Group and its subsidiaries to Ivory Coast, who through this gesture wished to support the Ivorian State in its efforts to prevent and control the pandemic.

The Minister of Health and Public Hygiene thanked the donors for their unfailing support to the Ivory Coast authorities.
